Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except 1/4 cup rolled oats in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select White Bread cycle, light crust, press Start.

  2. If your machine has a Fruit setting, add the remaining oats at the signal, or about 5 minutes before the kneading cycle has finished.

It's lightly sweet, dark and rich. Great for toasting or snacking. Don't make it if you don't like molasses!
