Directions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate until melted. Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth. Set aside.

  2. In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Stir in chocolate and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt, add gradually to the butter and sugar mixture, alternating with the milk.

  3. Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until crisp.
