3 tablespoons butter
½ pound hot Italian sausage links, casings removed and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 ½ cups uncooked orzo pasta
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
3 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until browned, about 2 minutes. Add orzo and stir until it begins to turn golden, about 2 minutes. Add chives and oregano, stir. Pour in Swanson Chicken Broth.

  2. Bring to a low boil, reduce heat, cover, and let simmer over low heat until pasta is al dente, about 20 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Top with parsley.
